Through our property at The Mill, we work to add life back into otherwise overlooked spaces by offering a place of community and creativity. With seasonal events that showcase local talent and the opportunity to book the Mill for small, private events, we aim to create a gathering place that embraces change and transformation while capturing and celebrating the unique charm of rural living.
Join us for 2024 Christmas at the Mill November 16th, 23rd and 24th. Each day we will have local makers (perfect for starting your Christmas shopping), fresh evergreen porch pots, wreaths, swags and more and vintage items reimagined for the season.
Examples of local makers include:
Thurston Ridge Soap Co. , Molly's Mittens, Simply B Candle Co, Mama Hen's Goods, Dr. Sarah's Essentials, Barn Quilts by Karly, Kelly's Farmhouse Kreations, Midwest Candle Co, and more!
Join us for 2024 Porch Pot Workshop on Saturday, November 30. Sixth annual porch pot workshop to finish out the Hale Picking evergreens season. These workshops are a blast. Bring your own container and we will get it all spiffed up for your outdoor decor! The more interesting the container, the better! Two workshop sessions will be held on Saturday, November 30 at the mill.
Workshop costs $45 and includes a variety of greenery and dogwood to fill one container. You can purchase extra supplies like birch logs, magnolia, eucalyptus, and more! When you sign up for a spot, you'll pay $45 to hold your spot. If you are unable to come, I will credit you $25. There are 28 spots for porch pots available over two sessions, 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm.
Light refreshments will be available but feel free to bring your own too!
